I have had a blast researching to come up with the BEST 20 Teen-Man Caves! I’m swimming in a sea of girls right now in my own home (literally the conversation occurring over my shoulder at this moment is enough to make anyone want to add a little testosterone to the mix). It’s a nice reprieve to dive into masculine plaids, dark colors, sports and animal heads!
I’ll start with the inspiration (by Suzanne Kassler) for the cover pic. The wood planked walls, the sconce above the window, and the bed anchored to the wall. LOVE IT ALL!!
More wood planks! This time in the form of a headboard. Such a great idea for a sconce of his choosing. The lantern and map are great wall decor ideas!
A bed or a Chesterfield sofa? Either way, the tufted leather, hanging lights, and chalkboard walls scream “No girls allowed”!
Love these matching headboards! The striped comforters in bright, yet “guy-approved” colors are cheery.
Gray tufted headboards, check brown blankets and turquoise covers are brilliant and interesting.
More brown checks, and deer head motifs! I really love the simplicity of this “guy-getaway”!
These headboards are awesome! Too bad you can’t just find them around any corner! And the initials embroidered on the pillows is still in a manly font. If there is such a thing. Haha!
If a masculine pouf is possible, anything is! And the color block window treatment brightens things up.
I love these striped walls! Especially with a bright upholstered headboard. Still totally appropriate for a male space.
Camo headboard, burnt orange walls, plaid sheets and pillows and antlers are such a great combo!
Grey walls, and natural looking shades are very handsome in this space. Just a touch of striped texture on the lumbar pillows adds just enough interest.
I love these colors and the rope lamp! The whole space is so charming!
Striped walls and simple touches like the cowboy hat and blue and white runner make this tiny otherwise boring space, appealing.
These textured walls and the stripe down the window treatment draw the eye up and create visual space.
This one is like a Tommy Hillfiger room. I love the bright red with plaid sheets and black headboard. The striped red pillow adds a touch of nautical.
So, cozy, this cottage style room is bright and cheery with different shades of blue, wood tones and white walls.
This room looks like a cruise ship interior bunk room! Loads of fun waiting to be had!
If you have a beautiful piece of furniture to go in a space, show case it! Don’t make it compete with lots of different colors and accessories. This room is a perfect example of what I’m talking about! Your eye focuses on these beautiful bed frames because the rest of the room is minimalistic.
The opposite is sort of true here. With a neutral background these accessories and fabrics are what brings interest to this space. Love that side table!
And finally a sports theme. I generally don’t care for the over used “PB Teen” look. And although this one is in that same vein, the different fabrics and cool chest and lamp make it so much more charming!
Hope this gave you some inspiration for your teen headed toward manhood! Do you have any great ideas for teen boys? Happy Teen Tuesday!!
