If you don’t know the origin of these wedding plans it would be helpful for you to start here!
We are a VERY SHORT 3 weeks away from the Wedding! YIKES! Keeping in mind that the entire goal was to keep it simple and concentrate on what really matters and that is putting our family back together! That being said, I have had so much fun checking out the latest in wedding planning! It’s all so pretty and so hard to resist!!
For the purposes of this post I’m going to confine our discussion to Cakes and Flowers… So let the fun begin!
Cakes

All of these are exquisite! I love the simplicity of the tiers combined with the different colors of the icing, ribbon and fresh flowers! Which is your favorite?

These grooms cakes are unreal, right!?! I especially appreciate the Aggie Bonfire! But I’m mostly drawn to the tree stumps with the initials drawn in them! And, how bout that steak!?!
Flowers
On to the Bridal Bouquet!
This one is stunning! Made entirely of light pink peonies, it is magnificent! I am finding myself mostly pulled toward peonies, which of course are more expensive than the other options! But WOW!!
This one, made of roses, is not too shabby! I love the vibrant orange and pink together!
But this one is probably my favorite! Again, with the two shades peonies, and some roses mixed in, the piece-de-resistance however is the black and white ribbon. I love the look! Ties it all together!
Which would you lean toward?
Centerpieces…
Another beautiful example of how the black and white stripe can tie everything together!
Using citrus to fill the space in a glass vase, is a brilliant idea! Perfect for a spring/summer wedding!

I also love the wood or gold leaf look in the centerpiece container! They have “Texas wedding” written all over them! Don’t you think?
So, what stands out to you? I would love your opinion! Next week I’ll be back to talk about more Nuptial News! The DRESS needs to be addressed! Ha!
Happy Family Friday!
