Think of a dining room with pops of blue for family gatherings. Harmony is always a sought after emotion when it comes to family time, right!?
Painting the back of shelving any pop of color draws interest. Blue seems very clean and orderly. This blue is stunning!
I love these dark blue cabinets. I certainly think of order, serenity and reliability in this room. The touches of brass in the library lighting is gorgeous and tends to lead the eye all the way up the shelves to the top.

This is a guest bedroom I designed, in which we went with navy for the walls. Our goal was to create a gender neutral space in which the guests would have a feeling of tranquility and peace in order to truly relax.
In this bathroom that I designed, the stunning blue floral in the shower curtain demands attention against the soft gray tile.
In my own bathroom and bedroom, I have silk blue and white on the window treatments. I can testify that it is intact calming!
In the spring and summer months, the soft blues in my dining room are reminiscent of water and serenity.
