It is NO secret, by now, that I LOVE pink!
So, for sure I used a little enhancement at this ballgame, however, the sky truly was pretty pink all on its own! Pretty sure God loves pink too!
In the study of color psychology, it is said that pink often represents Hope, nurturing, positive, exciting, energizing, passionate, magnetic, adventurous, compassionate, tender, girlie…
Spring time brings forth many shades of pink! We find hope in the spring! Also, breast cancer awareness evokes a picture of a pink ribbon which represents hope plus positive AND compassionate vibes!
This pink building looks so nostalgic (which is another emotion often attributed to pink) and exciting! I definitely want to see what else is in the building!
A ferris wheel in pink is totally adventurous and exciting! Not to mention energizing!
Here are some ways that I’ve used pink in my own space…
If you are already familiar with my home, undoubtedly, the first mental stop you make (when it comes to pink) is the gameroom.
I really didn’t hold back here. LOL. To me this space ooses femininity, excitement, energy, passion and (I hope) nurturing. I want guests to always feel welcome and well cared for in our home. I want them to leave inspired and not tired. excited rather than bummed.
Jenny Tamplin Interiors’ signature colors are pink and green!
Every time I think of that I hear “my signatu’ colors ah blush and bashful!” ~ Julia Roberts in Steel Magnolias
It’s funny to me that some women and girls seem to have a sense of pride in their voice when they proclaim their hatred for pink. I feel quite the opposite. I’m quite proud to be female and I love expressing my femininity via color. I’m not saying you aren’t feminine if you don’t like pink! of course it’s ok to not like pink. But why the pride!?!
When people think of my brand I want all of the emotions that come from pink to be present. Energetic, adventurous, exciting, nurturing, positive, magnetic, nostalgic and compassionate.
I truly believe this is who I am at my core!
Talk about feminine! I used this blush shade of pink in the master of our home. People often ask me how my husband feels about our bedroom and the truth is, he could probably do without the pink. But he indulges me often and more importantly, he fully grasps how vital color and light are to my wellbeing. So, in the end, he embraces it. And sometimes escapes to the dirty, muddy, grimy pastures of our ranch! Nothin wrong with that!
If I throw you a party, chances are, pink is going to be in the color scheme! So, love it or hate it, at least you’re getting a party! Right?
I absolutely adore these Lilly Pulitzer plates that
I bought for myself my family gave me for mother’s day this year! So so thoughtful of them!
I hope you all have enjoyed this immersion into my pink reality! And I hope you all are having a fabulous Monday!
What color inspires and energizes you? What color would you say best represents you?
