I’ve been working with this adorable and amazing young family of 7 out of Sugar Land Texas over the last few weeks, and I’ve had so much fun! I’ve known this sweet sweet lady since before she was a momma and NOW she is a FABULOUS mother to 5 kiddos 7 years old and under!
Leah loves blue and white! And she’s sort-of caused a fire to start inside of me as well! Needless to say, I had so much fun working on their family space!
Now I’m moving on to their formal living areas and I can’t wait to show you what we come up with there as well!
But for now, I wanted to share with you some of our ideas for her family space.
Since Leah has 5 sweet babies (that she home schools part-time!), who LOVE to create art, I wanted to think of a way to include them in this space. It IS after all, their family room! So this chalkboard wall from etsy, seemed like a perfect fit for one of the walls! Leah, was an art major in college, so she’ll have a blast with it as well!
I love the Martin Sofa from Wisteria! It is slipcovered and you can choose from a wide array of colors! The slipcover is a profound invention when raising small children! It might even save lives!
The dining chair is from Ballard Designs in a cobalt linen. I really love the nailhead trim, however you could also go with slip covers for these as well!
I love the York Dining table from Aidan Gray with beautiful carved detailing!
She has so many beautiful blue and white porcelain pieces, but the blue hydrangea arrangement is from One Kings Lane.
The gorgeous blue and white “East Town” rug is from Lulu & Georgia. I love how subtle it is! Perfect for family wear and tear.
The mirrored frames are from Two’s Company. I love mirrored frames because they are beautiful and they don’t distract from the faces in the pic!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this fun plan for a blue & White family room! What do you think? Do you LOVE blue & White?
Happy Family Friday and Happy Independence Day!
