So, this concludes this family’s 8th consecutive club season. The best one yet! While they are the prettiest team out there, they are also the fiercest! I don’t know what we expected from this season, but they certainly exceeded all expectations! Plain and simple, they beasted!

If you’ve never moved to a brand new town then you won’t know exactly what I’m talking about when I say it’s not easy to make new friends! Even as an adult it’s a struggle! I don’t do well without friends! I tested 100% extrovert on the Myers-Briggs personality test! I NEED PEOPLE!! And these are GOOD PEOPLE!
Bethany, Sydney, Coach Kelsey, Coach Allie, Erin, Hayley
Madi, Allie, Madeline, Taylor, Riley
You know when you’re raising kids, often your closest friends end up being those that sit next to you on the bleachers! And we hit the jackpot with this group! All fun, authentic, caring, lighthearted people! Each one of these girls reflect their awesome parents! I was blown away at the chemistry between all 9 girls and…
Kelsey, Madeline, Allie
These fabulous former A&M Volleyball girls! We totally lucked out when we landed these two. Best coaching to date and they were as chill as… hmmm… What is really chill? Anyway, they were so great and taught the girls a TON about volleyball. Both fundamentally and how to be the best teammate, these two coached our girls with excellence! Of course! They’re AGGIES!
Madeline, Erin, Sydney, Taylor, Madi, Bethany, Allie, Riley (missing Hayley)
Off the court, we had more fun than we probably should have. JK… What’s “too much fun”? A false notion as far as I’m concerned. But seriously, I’ve never been in a room with 9 girls equally as quirky as the other! I think that’s why it worked! None of them have a problem getting over themselves! Not typical girl attitudes! Again, obviously awesome parenting!
So we celebrated Shock this last weekend, and all of their success! And they did have plenty of success! They’re as scrappy as they are cute!
It didn’t take any of them long to bond to one another! The first time they met was like the mother-ship landed! The one with the off-the-wall, insanely hilarious, off-beat girls! At one point they all spent the night at our house and the stories that have come forth from that gathering are too humorous to write about. You just had to be there. They crazy!
So what I’m trying to say is we are beyond thankful to find friends and teammates like these in our new home! We count each of them as a blessing!
So, here’s to my favorite defensive specialist! You & Shock did good, girl! As, one of our dad’s says “They played for the sprinkles!” And here’s to finishing our 8th club season as a family!
Hug the ones in your life and be thankful for true friendships today! AND, here’s to winning!
