My hope for my “Why” Wednesday series is to compile and share the most inspirational pics of the week. Please let me know if you find inspiration in them as well!
This pic is of a guest room by Traci Zeller. I am really drawn to Traci’s impeccable style. She is truly very classic and talented! I find her work absolutely inspiring. I love the feminine wallpaper combined with the richness of the stained dresser. Also, the pink light fixture! Well, if you’ve read any of my posts, you know how I feel about all things pink! Thank you Traci for sharing your amazing style with us!
On La Dolce Vita blog this week, Paloma Contreras wrote a post about the designers Suysel de Pedro Cunningham and Anne Maxwell Foster of Tilton Fenwick. I love Paloma’s blog and always find it inspiring. And through it, I was able to learn more about Ms. Cunningham and Ms. Foster and their work (also simply amazing and inspiring!). I LOVE this bathroom! The touches of brass with that vibrant paper and that unique mirror! Also, the small framed art! Honestly every detail is genius! Thank you to all three of these talented ladies!
In this House Beautiful pic I am drawn to the glossy blue cabinetry combined with the small but powerful red sofa and turquoise ottoman. But that’s not all that’s going on in this relatively small space! The zebra rug, the far-reaching floor lamp and the fabric on the window treatment are all impeccably combined for awe-inspiring, yet oh-so-cozy, space!
I’ve mentally scoured this office space several times before. And again this week I found myself mesmerized by the color and patterns chosen for this delightful cocktail! The wallpaper ceiling is a fabulous idea that would liven up any ole work space! That shade of green mixed with the blue is gorgeous! I love the blue tented acrylic desk chairs! And who wouldn’t work more productively under a chandelier!? Duh!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pic! It appeals to the Jenny-Mike inside of me! It even looks like a happier version of the 70’s! I feel all kinds of inspiration gazing into it! How bout you?
And finally, I took this pic today inside Dallas Market Center. It’s just a bunch of books that someone turned into art (in my opinion) by covering the spines with decorative tape. I can’t even explain why I loved it so much! Maybe just the rainbow of colors, or the simplicity of such a project? Either way, I couldn’t wait to share it with you!
Only Walt could say something so simple and yet so inspiring!
What inspires you?
