Hollywood Regency makes me happy 🙂
From tufted head-boards, brass accents, fretwork, mirrored furniture, to shiny fabrics I love it!
All the AMAZING velvet colors
Since the 1930’s Hollywood Regency has stood the test of time. But glam is no longer exclusive to Hollywood!
What says glam better than mirrored furniture?
This console is divine! It totally “mirrors” (haha) the lavish designs of old Hollywood.
One need not have mirrored pieces in every piece of furniture in a room. A little goes a long way! Pick one focal point, such as this vanity, and go for!
Or not! Go big or go home right!?!
Color and Texture
Bar carts are so reminiscent of the good ole glam days. They are, however making a comeback. The brass detail in this one combined with the orange glossy walls and black trim is beautiful!
More mirror combined with this purple screams royalty. Love it!
Here is a little more subdued version of Regency. Lacquered bright furniture with touches of brass and gilded chairs with leopard print upholstery with a neutral background is so classy!
I was so so so excited when I found this desk!
It will go in the master of the Jenny-Mike house! It’s an antique circa 1960’s. The edges are brass with a cream lacquer finish. What do you think?
Good things don’t go away that easy! What’s your favorite piece of Hollywood Regency design? Do you have any pieces of your own?
