The Master in this house needed to be special. It needed to be an oasis. A sort of promise of a bright tomorrow!
I think I was able to achieve better results than I even hoped for! The coverlet and king shams are from Leontine Linens. They custom make every piece and allow you to pick out all of your colors and design. They do beautiful embroidery as well! I added the three custom euros and bedskirt to match the window treatment with a silk blue and cream stripe from Kravet. I wanted to stay with a simple look because I knew the walls were going to be the main focus.
The lamps were one of my most favorite finds! They are a splurge for sure, Christopher Spitzmiller, but the color is so so so beautiful! The bedside chests are from Mecox Houston. The bed frame is a family treasure as my Grandpa made it! I originally painted in black. However, for the purposes of this room, I wanted NOTHING to be black, but rather bright colors!
The wallpaper is a silk custom hand painted paper by Griffin and Wong. This company has a vast array of background colors for you to start with and then you get to even pick your theme and the colors of paint! It was worth the wait and the every penny spent! I could not be happier with it!
The desk is an antique that I also am over the moon about! It’s lacquered cream with brass hardware. Hollywood Regency style. The brass chair is also an antique.
This sitting area is home to two Lee swivel chairs in a white linen. It was also important to have lots of windows in this room.
For the window treatment in the sitting area I used the same Kravet fabric in a balloon blackout (of course) shade.
As you can see the Griffin and Wong paper was not used in the sitting area. I just matched it with a Ben Moore color.
I love this coffee bar in the master bedroom! It has an under-counter fridge for water, wine, whatever!
The mugs are monogrammed in gold by Feather And Birch. She did a beautiful job and she was super fast!
This was taken with my phone. I know. Not as good as the other amazing pics by Fidelis Studio! But I realized after the shoot that we really never got the rug! And I love the rug! It’s custom-made from Madison Lily in Houston! Also the blush silk quilt is from Leontine Linens. It’s 100% for the little girl in me!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this tour through this master bedroom! I thought it appropriate for this Connection Monday!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!
