I seem to be on a roll with the outdoor experience right now! Check out these last few posts here, here & here! Obviously I LOVE when things begin to warm up and bloom! And I know I’m jumping the “summer” gun a little bit, but here in College Station, Texas May IS summer.
I’ve been so inspired by all of the Mason Jar Crafts…
and fun party decor that I decide to turn a regular weekday into a special culinary experience!
And what better place than by the pool!? Sure, I could do this in a dining room! But I’m a lover of the sun and it has been raining so much lately I felt inspired to take advantage of the weather!
I LOVE my little pink bowls that I bought at Pier 1 this spring! It’s time to fill those suckers with some ice cream!
Have you used liquid leaf? I am addicted to this stuff! I mean not in an inappropriate means of inhalation sort of way! But I am wanting to paint everything I see, gold! It’s the coolest stuff! Maybe I’m easily entertained.
And nothing says “it’s summer!” like pink lemonade! Well, maybe a pink-lemonade margarita, but you get what I’m saying!
In the summer, we like simple easy and light recipes! It’s more about the beverage this time of year!
I still need to go to the grocery store but this Chipotle Chicken Salad via Nutmeg Notebook is the recipe of choice for this outdoor dinner!
But we WILL be filling the pink bowls with…
I adore my Cuisinart Ice cream maker! It’s super fast and super easy! So, I gotta go! I need heavy cream to get this bad-boy going!
