Let’s get real. Doing laundry is NOT on the top of everyone’s list for most fun thing to do. But laundry can be made more fun if you have a workstation that is more inviting and makes the process easier. You can give yourself more counter space to fold laundry and do any other crafts, a sink to do any hand washing and space in cabinets or under the counter to hide those cleaning supplies!

Paint your cabinets a fun color like this above laundry room! I love how the blue of this room is so calming.

Who says that your washing machine and dryer even need to be on the ground? Lift them up to add more drawer space!

If you have bulkier objects that you want to keep in your laundry room, such as laundry baskets or litter boxes, try curtains under the counters rather than cabinets to be able to store those out of sight.

I love the utilization of space in this laundry room! You don’t need to have a whole room in your house for laundry as you can see from this picture. A widened hallway is a great way to save space while also having a mud room!

And for all of you out there that have dogs, this laundry room would be an absolute blessing. I love the idea of having a dog wash station in your living room for when your furry friends get themselves into a muddy situation!
