Grand Cayman Island
I’m on vacation this week… I know. Bless my heart! I and my 4 kids are visiting Grand Cayman Island!
It is seriously my favorite place in the world (at least that I’ve been to so far)! And since I have the Jenny-Mike House on the brain, I’m relating everything I see back to color palettes!
I am the kind of person that NEEDS the sun! I suppose I need an inordinate amount of vitamin D. So there is NO BETTER place than Grand Cayman for me! The water is the prettiest I’ve ever seen!
And as I’m lying on the beach, soaking up the sun, I’m mentally planning the interior color palette for the Jenny-Mike house. Common sense - If I’m happiest out here, then why not try to bring these colors inside?
Nature’s Color Palettes
Don’t you think we overlook the obvious sometimes? I mean everyone is so intimidated to pick out paint colors but really, if you just look around at things you love, things that bring you joy, can’t you just begin to put your own personal colors together? Plus, pinterest really has done most of the work for us with palettes like these.
These pics aren’t necessarily from Grand Cayman. I didn’t take them so I’m unsure of their origins. And I will post more pics from Grand Cayman later this week. But the point remains the same. If God sees fit to put these colors together (and He’s done a really amazing job!) then I think it’s safe for us as well. 🙂
This one is so fun! The orange umbrellas and blue ski are so eye-catching together!
What are some of your favorite color palettes?
In the meantime, I’ve got some decisions to make… Snorkel or read? Hmmm, it’s tough today! Happy Wednesday!
