When Audrey and Shelby finally decided on the type of grad party they wanted, Charlene (Shelby’s mom) and I were
befuddled surprised to hear they wanted “birds”! Wha!?! But at least they had a jumping off point! From there we thought it would be best to steer clear of the cliché parties of graduation season (although there is nothing wrong with them! No one loves a good cliché party more than me!) and go with a pancake and pajama party! We decided on a May morning to celebrate their journey through high school and the girls began preparing the guest list!
It could not have gone more perfect! I’m so thankful that the Sumlins took the ball and ran with it (no pun intended! haha! But Gig’Em Aggies! 🙂 ). They graciously opened their home and Charlene secured some fabulous caterers and even arranged for baristas from a local College Station coffee shop to come and entertain with their mad artistic skills!
We moved to College Station when Audrey was going into the 10th grade, but God has supplied her with an AMAZING group of friends! I am beyond thankful for this blessing!
One cannot go wrong in party planning when one combines elements such as breakfast with pajamas with sand volleyball! Particularly when you have almost the entire varsity volleyball team present!
I really feel it could not have gone any better! The only missing pieces were the siblings and dad who couldn’t be present.
We missed you, Emma!
We missed you, Jeff (aka Jefe)

We love you, Audrey and Shelby and wish you all the best in this next chapter of your life! Good luck at Belmont and A&M!
Thank you once again, Fidelis Studio for your crazy amazing photography!
Happy Family Friday to you and yours!
